CROQUET RULES |

The sport of croquet like billiards contains a variety of games each with a set of governing rules or laws of play. Several popular variations of the game involve the modern hoop setting of six hoops configured around a central peg. Of course, variations of the older nine wicket setting still exist. |

The best reference
to the modern rule of croquet is the official rulebook - The Laws of Association
Croquet, 6th edition, c.2000. This rulebook can be obtained through
the Croquet Association. Our club has

USCA SIX WICKET RULES |
|
|
The United States Croquet Association
has the 2nd most popular variation of the game. The latest revision
c.2001 can be obtained from the USCA. |

NINE WICKET VARIATIONS |
|
|
Numerous variations exist usually by
local conventions. The Kentucky Nine Wicket rules are one of the oldest
existing sets of rule still being played. |
