MacRobertson Shield

The MacRobertson Shield is the triple crown of croquet events.  It is a team event between four countries: England, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.  Its history goes back a few years, but the United States has only competed since 1993.  Each event lasts between 15 days and 3 weeks and is scheduled only once every 3-4 years.  Players are selected to play on their country's team and the honor is the highest achievement provided to a croquet player.  This event is only matched by the Singles and Doubles championships held by the World Croquet Federation where 16 or more countries may participate in one event.

The following table is from Chris Williams.  Follow the links under each year to see the details of the event.
