The WCF croquet championships were held in Christchurch, New Zealand

The winner was Chris Clarke against Stephen Mulliner.
The plate winner was James Death against Chris Patmore.

I was there and I witnessed the fun of playing on brown fast lawns.
The people at the various clubs were great and everyone was most hospitable.
The Americans learned alot including driving on the left side of the road.
Bruno and I toured the south island the week after the tournament.
Landing on the Fox Glacier by helicopter was a true highlight.
