James A. Gerwitz, AC7FN  SK

Scottsdale - James Allen Gerwitz passed away on 
September 30, 2018 at the age of 77.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, 
Lee and their three children; Ted, Denise and Tracy.

Jim was an Arizona native, born in Holbrook on July 11, 1941.

After Jim graduated from Arizona State University, he went on 
to have a long and distinguished career driving Manufacturing 
and Quality Control programs for such notable organizations 
as Iridium, General Dynamics, C4 Systems and Motorola.


Jim's enthusiasm for HAM radio, travel, photography and his dogs 
will be missed by all who knew him, especially his 
five grandchildren whom he cherished.

Katelin, Linzy, Brandon, Savannah and Zoey dearly loved their Grandfather 
and will carry the memory of his stoic humor and booming life.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 PM at 
Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary at 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, Arizona, 85254.
